Quest Incubator Teams

Quest Incubator

Quest Incubator (QI) provides students an opportunity to work with mentors and industry leaders, our “experts-in-residence,” to launch their startup. Students develop a working prototype of their product to refine their business model in order to launch their business idea. Students gain real-word business and entrepreneurship experience focusing on customer validation through market research, business development, strategic partnerships, and refining a business model that is viable, sustainable, scalable and fundable. The program provides workshops, roundtable discussions and opportunities to network and consult with entrepreneurs and mentors on developing their business plans into a business startup. Some QI projects have secured seed funding from investors. QI takes place during the 4B period. The program fee for QI is $400 per semester.

Students APPLY by submitting the following info & using this LINK:

●  cover letter

●  resume

●  two references: name, title and email

●  business proposal that they plan to prototype & launch

VCS Debate is a parliamentary debate team that promotes effective public speaking and nuanced argumentation. We compete on the National Parliamentary Debate League circuit and host the League's annual Winter Workshop on the VCS campus.

VCJH EXPLORE entrepreneurship

BEI offers after-school Junior High program Explore Entrepreneurship which is based on teachings from VentureLab. Our newest offering, SLC, is based on Destination Imagination’s unique curriculum, plus our faculty’s biblical integration. We are thrilled that Junior High students are learning about entrepreneurship and social impact projects in these innovative new programs. In 2020-2021, BEI is offering a new Entrepreneurship elective class during the school day.

VCES DISCOVER entrepreneurship

VCES offers one of the Bay Area’s only K-12 entrepreneurship program, where the youngest students learn about entrepreneurship with hands-on projects and lessons in starting a real-world business. VCES students learn the ins and outs of starting their own business through Lemonade Day - a nationwide program that is as fun as it is educational and two new after-school classes -   Kidpreneur & Money $marts. As a part of a BEI K-12 mentorship program, BEI high school students also use this opportunity to mentor and guide our budding entrepreneurs during the after-school program.
