MORE INFO on
Quest Incubator
Quest Incubator (QI) provides students an opportunity to work with mentors and industry leaders, our “experts-in-residence,” to launch their startup. Students develop a working prototype of their product to refine their business model in order to launch their business idea. Students gain real-word business and entrepreneurship experience focusing on customer validation through market research, business development, strategic partnerships, and refining a business model that is viable, sustainable, scalable and fundable. The program provides workshops, roundtable discussions and opportunities to network and consult with entrepreneurs and mentors on developing their business plans into a business startup. Some QI projects have secured seed funding from investors. QI takes place during the 4B period. The program fee for QI is $400 per semester.
Students APPLY by submitting the following info & using this LINK:
● cover letter
● resume
● two references: name, title and email

VCJH EXPLORE ENTREPRENEURSHIP
BEI offers multiple ways to explore entrepreneurship for students in junior high. During the school day, there is a semester-long elective called DIY: Start a Business! For after-school opportunities, there is an 8 week program called Explore Entrepreneurship each fall and spring semester. This past year, Destination Imagination was offered as an 8-month after-school class. We are thrilled that junior high students are learning about entrepreneurship and how to use their creativity to help solve problems with products and services.

VCES DISCOVER ENTREPRENEURSHIP
BEI offers VCES 3rd-5th grade students opportunities to learn about entrepreneurship through two after-school programs, Lemonade Day and Money $marts. Lemonade Day students make business decisions to learn how to best run a lemonade stand at school. Proceeds from the lemonade sales go to a non-profit Change for India which provides educational, healthcare and evangelism to rural villages in India.
In Money $marts, VCES students learn the basics of finance. This program is taught by BEI Quest Incubator high school students who run the business Financing the Future.

Spring 2022 Money $marts students with high school teachers, Financing the Future.
